Iran still wants broader guarantees, compensation, and a more durable arrangement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iran\u2019s leverage is still intact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran does not need to win a conventional war to maintain pressure. Its power comes from disruption, uncertainty, and selective escalation. Hormuz remains central to that strategy. Even partial control over shipping risk is enough to influence markets and governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The region remains unstable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the wider regional system is still fragile. Israel\u2019s other fronts remain active, and there is no fully credible international security architecture behind maritime stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The real risk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The biggest risk is not only that the ceasefire breaks. It is that the ceasefire holds on paper while real control over shipping, escalation channels, and deterrence remains weak.
